How we work

How we verify streamer setups

How SetupStreamers collects, cross-checks and updates each streamer's gear, which sources we use and how affiliate links work.

Updated

SetupStreamers has been publishing the gear used by the best-known streamers and creators from Spain, Latin America and the United States for years. This is the process we follow so every page is reliable.

1. Where the information comes from

  • The creators themselves: streams where they show their setup, room tour videos, their channel panels and commands (such as !setup or !pc) and their social media.
  • Brands and sponsors: official partnership announcements and signature products, such as special edition mice or chairs.
  • Manufacturer pages: we describe each product using the brand's official specifications.
  • Biographical references: age, real name or nationality are checked against public sources like Wikipedia or interviews.

2. How we cross-check it

A component is added when it appears in a recent source from the creator or is confirmed by several independent sources. When sources disagree, the most recent one wins. When we cannot verify a streamer's gear, the page is marked under review and hidden from search engines until it is confirmed.

3. How often we update

Streamers change gear often, especially graphics cards, mice and microphones. We review the most visited pages every few months, and each page shows its last review date next to the source list.

4. Affiliate links

Buy buttons lead to Amazon. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you. That commission never decides which product appears: each page shows the gear the streamer actually uses, even if it is not sold on Amazon.

5. Errors and corrections

If you spot outdated information, or you are the creator and want to correct your setup, write to us from the contact page. We review every report.
